The 23rd edition of the International Symposium on design and practical application of architectural membrane structures was held in the Russian capital from May 24 to 26.

The 23rd edition of the International Symposium on design and practical application of architectural membrane structures was held in the Russian capital from May 24 to 26.
RariTEK-Tekhnologii's specialist visited this event in order to exchange experience and to get some information about new materials that would make it possible to expand the range and to improve the quality of the products.
This year, the symposium retained its traditional scientific and practical format, which consisted of presentations and reports in the morning and various seminars in the afternoon. This approach helped the experts to gradually guide the participants through the entire process of creating membrane structures by analyzing and discussing all stages, starting from the basic idea and up to the installation of the structure.
All participants enjoyed the speech of speakers from Germany, Belarus and Russia. The foreign speakers presented their new methods of designing and calculating the forms. They talked about new trends in the development of architecture in Europe. It was also announced about ongoing activities to develop new standards and regulations for the use of membrane structures. Such events make it possible for all present specialists to impove their professional skills, to get creative ideas and best solutions in construction.
